New Holiday Cards 2010 300x250

Since featuring Minted, some of my readers have purchased from them and I wanted to share a testimonial here:

"Thank you for recommending Minted to me last year.  I purchased holiday cards last year and loved the selection of photo cards.  We ended up choosing a modern, funky design.  And when they arrived, they were printed on really nice, quality paper.  They looked like we spent a lot of money on them but, they were really not more expensive than other card places.  I am definitely going to buy my cards from them again this holiday season!"

Also if you order by tomorrow, you can get upgraded to free overnight shipping and will receive your cards by 12/20.  So what are you waiting for?  Check out Minted's amazing selection of cards and give style again this season!

Happiest Holidays to you and yours!

OK, I am slightly obsessed with these boots!!  Wingtips + buckles + sweater knit = LOVE.  I have already sent them to the hubs so he can forward them on to Santa.  You know, just trying to help Santa out since he has so much going on.  These boots are so versatile.  I see them with skirts, dresses, leggings, denim.  So pretty much everything in the closet.  And they look so cozy!  I know they might not be for everyone but I have to have these.  Too much of a good thing is good, right?
In this case I say absolutely!  What do you say?

Bombshell Bliss

I have a new favorite pair of jeans that I just had to share.  Do you love your curves but hate buying jeans because they always gape at the waistband?  Do you want a straight leg jean that your thighs might actually fit in?    Well these are the jeans for you!

These are the cigarette leg in dark vintage.  They also carry them in a bootcut and pencil in lots of different washes.  What a great addition to your fall wardrobe, huh?  Oh and if you are not so curvy, not to worry, they have lots of styles for every body type.  Do you have a favorite pair of jeans right now?

Labels of Love

Alright mommas and poppas, it's that time again.  Our little ones are heading back to school and I am guessing you are starting to get organized.  I have got a website that will help you not only with that, but will also ensure that all those school supplies come home with your child.  My brother told me about this company, Mabel's Labels, and I am so glad he did.   It is awesome.  They have labels for absolutely anything you can think of and they are super cute!!  Check it out...

Sticky Labels can be used on a ton of different things, bottles, pencils, cups, etc.  And they are dishwasher and microwave safe.  Now that is something to love!

Clothing Labels are great for camp, or when loaning those newborn clothes out to your besties.  They offer both iron-ons and tag labels that adhere to almost any fabric, and are laundry safe.  No more magic marker initials for you.  They also have shoe labels that are waterproof and extra tough.

Don't have kids?  They have tons of organizational Household Labels for you too.  Need to organize your pantry?  Can't remember what cord goes to what?  Not sure when you put that meat in the freezer?  Is your attic in dire straits of an overhaul?  Not to worry, Mabel's Labels has got you covered.

There are endless possibilities with these labels.  Ready to get organized?  Ready to send those kiddos back to school with cute labels that will actually stay on?  Then just click on the logo below and label the things you love.

Style that lasts a lifetime

I got married 5 years ago and one of the most important things to me were my pictures.  I wanted a photographer that told a story through their images.  I wanted mostly candid, not staged.  I wanted the real deal.  Because I knew that these would be my snippets of the big day, my catches of smiles or tears, my memories.  These pictures tell the story of our love.  They document our families and friends that shared that amazing day with us.

I am so happy to share a photographer that brings all these things.  Her name is Sunday Grant and she is well, amazing.  Sunday feels that you must "document your life".  I have to agree.  Please take a peek at some of her work, I am sure you will be pleased.

Based in beautiful Black Mountain, NC, Sunday is an experienced photographer that takes pictures of life as it happens.  We're not talking your average staged shot, but a more candid approach with real emotion.  Sunday has a love for weddings, and feels lucky to share in such a personal day.  She also specializes in shoots with children and family in a natural setting.  But no matter what the occasion, Sunday will make you feel comfortable and relaxed, while using a photojournalistic approach to tell your story through her photographs.  So check her out, book your session, and document your life with style that truly lasts a lifetime.
